Partner and Head of Capital Market Research
Stu has spent close to 20 years providing high-quality institutional and capital markets intelligence to investor relations and senior management teams at corporate issuers around the globe. Having initially trained in asset management at Threadneedle Investments, before managing the global research and analysis team at Taylor Rafferty for over 10 years, Stu co-founded Fairvue Partners in 2014.
Stu set up the research function at Fairvue with the firm belief that all good investor relations advisory is fundamentally backed up by rigorous capital markets research. This view comes from the experience of having worked with and been a trusted capital markets advisor to many of the world’s leading issuers, adding material value to their IR programmes and practices.
Today, Stu heads up a team that works collaboratively with Fairvue’s corporate clients, conducting a wide range of highly bespoke analyses to help them to fully understand the dynamics underpinning their capital market positioning and to develop actionable strategies to engage key investment decision-makers and maximise the efficiency of all interactions.
Stu holds an BA with Honours from the University of Exeter and speaks French and German fluently.
